 I enjoy games of strategy, reading, cycling and walking as well as a wide range of live music and real ale. 

As Head of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Services, I am working with a great team to energise the research development, costing processes, and post award delivery across the university.

My role extends to policy, governance and helping in the development of our submission to the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Excellence Framework (REF).

I have a strong scientific background in translational research and the development of research funding pathways.

As senior manager, I have a great deal of experience in developing organised and systemic approaches to research funding and management across a broad range of funders and projects. 

Over the last 12 years, I have managed the development of significant funding portfolios in areas such as global food security, antimicrobial resistance and health and wellbeing.

I have worked across the boundaries of business, academia and policy makers.
