I am an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management. I have led on the development of market-led modules designed around the purpose, values, specialist knowledge and core behaviours of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). I have taught at the University of Portsmouth and Cardiff University where I taught on HRM undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. I am an experienced supervisor for dissertations and projects for both postgraduate and undergraduate students. I have previously worked as senior executive manager for a government department for almost ten years, in various capacities as Specialist Employment Adviser, Senior Business Analyst and Senior Organisation Development Manager. My research interest revolves around HRM practices, organisational behaviour, equality and diversity with inclination on racial and gender inequality in leadership in public sector organisations.
