Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in International Relatioins and I currently teach MA Diplomacy and International Politics, MA Post Cold War World Order and The Making of the Global World. I have recently joined DMU in Jan 2019 and have 6 years teaching experience at the Unversity of Leicester, where I taught a wide range of modules in IR.. I am very much student focussed and I try to get the very best from my students.

My research area is linked to Infrastructure Development in Africa. I have examined a particulat development model which is now being duplicated elsewhere. Withing this research I have examined the impact of democratic deficit and corruption. Both are a real threat to the success of the model.

In my spare time I compete in dressage and Eventing on my 17.1 horse named Winston.
